Welcome to the BirdDog family! The following articles will help get you acquainted with your new BirdDog product. Before you begin setting up your device(s), there are a few things that will help setup go smoothly. Please refer to the following tips and articles while getting started.

Network 101

Network configuration is a key component of any NDI setup. BirdDog’s network guidance is directly derived from the NDI White Paper. While other network configurations are possible, our team is unable to effectively support configurations that fall outside of these guidelines. Below, you will find an article that outlines BirdDog’s best networking practices.

Firmware Updates

New units may not be on the latest firmware out of the box. We always recommend having our products on the latest release. All updated firmware releases can be found on our Downloads Page, along with update instructions, release notes, relevant update files, and user guides.
