P-Series | Preset Recall Causing the Image to turn Black and White

If your BirdDog P-Series camera isn’t showing the correct color settings when it starts up, don’t worry! The steps below will help you fix the issue quickly.
  1. Start Your Camera Turn on your camera and wait for it to finish its start-up process.
  2. Adjust the Color Settings in the Web Interface Go to the camera’s web interface (WebUI). To easily fix the color settings, reset the image settings. In NDI 5's BirdUI, you can find this option by clicking on the "CamControl" page and then selecting the "Camera Control" tab. The reset button is at the bottom of the list.
  3. Set the Camera Position to where you want it to start up. If you don’t need to change the current position, you can skip this step.
  4. Save the Color Settings as a Preset once the color looks right, save these settings as “Preset 1.” To do this, go to the "Preset" tab on the CamControl page. When saving, you'll see two options: "CAMERA" and "PTZ ONLY." Make sure to select "CAMERA" when saving the preset, color settings are not saved to presets saved in PTZ Only.
By saving the color settings to "Camera Preset 1," the camera will start up with the correct color and position every time.
