Troubleshooting HDMI and SDI Output Issues After Firmware Update to 5.5.116

After updating to firmware version 5.5.116, users may find that HDMI or SDI outputs are not functioning, while NDI output remains operational.

The firmware update to version 5.5.116 changes the default setting for the Output Mode in the AV Setup tab of the WebUI to "NDI." This setting prioritizes NDI output, limiting the selection of available video formats and disabling HDMI and SDI outputs.
Solution:
  1. Access the Web UI: Login to the web interface of your device.
  2. Navigate to the AV Setup Tab: Located on the left tab. (You'll see the tab highlighted in the WebUI image below)
  3. Check the Output Mode Setting: The Output Mode will likely be set to "NDI" by default.
  4. Change the Output Mode: Switch the Output Mode from "NDI" to "NDI and Baseband."
    1. NDI: This mode outputs only NDI signals with a restricted range of video formats.
    2. NDI and Baseband: This mode enables a full range of video formats and activates NDI, HDMI, and SDI outputs.
  5. Once selected the following popup will appear.

  6. Select "OK".
  7. If you are not immedietly getting HDMI or SDI output after this selection, press "RESTART" to restore the outputs.
By switching the Output Mode to "NDI and Baseband," you will restore functionality to HDMI and SDI outputs, along with NDI, and gain access to a broader array of video formats.
