BirdDog P200 - Revision number verification tool.

BirdDog Eyes P200 has two distinct hardware revisions, it is important to know what revision number you have when updating to some newer versions of firmware. There are several ways to identify the hardware revision of your camera.

Jump to the bottom of this article to use the lookup tool.

Firstly you can look at the barcode located as per the diagram below on the bottom of your camera, the last two digits of the first group of numbers are the important digits.

If they are A1/A2/A3 then you should use A2/A3 firmware provided by BirdDog.
If the last two digits are anything other then you should use A4/A5 firmware provided by BirdDog.

Alternatively you can locate the currently running MCU (Master Control Unit) firmware version via the cameras OSD (On Screen Display). The OSD is accessible via the cameras remote control by pressing MENU.

Once the OSD is open, navigate to the SYSTEM menu.

The current firmware is listed under the SV number

You can enter this 18 digit SV number in the verification tool below to confirm the camera hardware revision you have.
